According to the preliminary Census Bureau data from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the total import volume of steel coils in November 2024 was around 64,600 tons, a decrease of 49% compared to October and a 42% drop compared to November 2023. 

Among them, imports from Canada accounted for the largest share, totaling roughly 44,000 tons, a month-on-month drop of 35.4% and a year-on-year decrease of 16%. 

In terms of value, the total import value of these products in November 2024 was about US$52 million, down by 32% month on month and by 31% year on year.
