Following the requests from the domestic steelmakers China Steel Corporation and Dragon Steel Corporation, the Ministry of Finance of Taiwan said in the statement that it would initiate an anti-dumping (AD) investigation into certain flat hot-rolled steel products from China. The official will determine whether those imports are dumped and cause injury to the domestic industry.
The products involved are hot-rolled non-alloy steel and other alloy steel flat-rolled steel products that have not been further processed and embossed in the form of a coil with a thickness no less than 1.1mm and no greater than 25.4mm, or the form of non-coil with a thickness no less than 1.1mm and less than 6mm.
