China Steel Corporation (CSC), the largest carbon steel manufacturer in Taiwan, has announced its April and second-quarter prices.
For April, the prices for cold-rolled coils and hot-rolled coils/ plates for general use were raised by NT$500/ton, the price for hot-rolled coils for rolling was increased by NT$600/ton, and prices for others were kept flat.
For the second quarter, the prices of hot-rolled plates/ coils and cold-rolled coils were hiked by NT$500/ton, and wire rod price was raised by NT$600/ton, while other items remained unchanged.
CSC, considering the upward market trend and the varying impact of US new tariffs on downstream industries, has decided to make such a price adjustment. Additionally, the company will continue to offer diverse support packages to help customers secure orders.
