According to statistics from the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), in the week ending on November 8, 2025, the production of US’ raw steel totaled 1.758 million net tons, slightly increasing by 1.0% from the same period a week ago and rising by 9.1% compared to the same period a year earlier. The capacity utilization rate was 76.7%, up by 0.7 percentage points week on week and by 4.1 percentage points year on year.

As of the week ending on November 8, 2025, the adjusted year-to-date production of US’ raw steel has amounted to 77.228 million net tons, rising by 3.1% compared to the prior-year level. The capacity utilization rate was 77.0%, up by 1.5 percentage points year on year.
