According to statistics from the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), in the week ending on November 22, 2025, the production of US’ raw steel totaled 1.761 million net tons, slightly increasing by 0.9% from the same period a week ago and rising by 9.2% compared to the same period a year earlier. The capacity utilization rate was 76.9%, up by 0.7 percentage points week on week and by 4.3 percentage points year on year.

As of the week ending on November 22, 2025, the adjusted year-to-date production of US’ raw steel has amounted to 80.734 million net tons, rising by 3.3% compared to the prior-year level. The capacity utilization rate was 77.0%, up by 1.5 percentage points year on year.
